About the Speakers

Tim Hrastar, Rapport Marketing

Tim Hraster helps good lawyers become better lawyers by improving their business development, presentation, and communication to clients and colleagues through personal coaching, consulting, and professional education programs. Hrastar's interest lies in reading and writing about history, politics, and philosophy, with an emphasis on American history. He co-authored a book on Photographer William Preston Mayfield, and has had articles published in American Heritage magazine and Timeline, the magazine of the Ohio Historical Society.

Richard Meier, Orion Communications

Richard Meier has held management positions at Top Value Enterprises (in the creative department) and Ohio Bell (in marketing). He has extensive hands- on and management experience as an agency principal, creative director, and writer. Most of his clients in the past 10 years have been high-tech, business-to-business, and/or manufacturing companies. Typical projects include image campaigns; marketing programs; brochures, flyers, sell sheets, and other collateral; trade show promotion; web site development; newsletters (electronic and print); catalogs; direct marketing/direct response; and ads and ad campaigns. Richard's clients have included AT&T, Airstream, Armco, CDO Technologies, Cincinnati Milacron,Frigidaire, General Electric, General Mills, General Motors, and many others. Richard received a BS from Ohio State with a major in English.

Barbara Moore, Lida Ray, Inc.

Barbara J. (BJ) Moore is a consultant specializing in strategic planning, program management, project recovery, and technology insertion for global initiatives for Fortune 500 multinational clients as well as smaller firms. Her experience spans both managerial and technical roles. BJ developed the 20 year plan for the USAF for overhauling the worldwide F-16 fleet of fighters. She has established testing programs for major software developments, written the House Language for gaining Congressional approval of security initiatives, created a 45 + program system for automating the diagnosis of modern domestic and foreign automotives for an equipment manufacturer. In 2000, she was a recipient of the IEEE Third Millennium Medal for her past IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) activities. She holds degrees in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, and Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Program Management of Information Systems.

Lynne Stamper, L.L. Stamper (retired)

Lynne Stamper founded L. L. Stamper, Inc. in 1987. She primarily worked in serving the computer industry, by finding and qualifying the technical personnel for worldwide business needs. By the time she retired in 2005, L. L. Stamper, Inc. had grown to a multi-million dollar business. Lynne's interest since retiring is spending a lot of time with her family, water color painting, reading, research, and providing consulting services for both individuals and businesses seeking the talent they need.
